History
A medical link spanning a century
The medical bridge between France and Armenia is rooted in a long tradition of scientific, humanitarian and academic cooperation. The Union des Médecins Arméniens was founded in 1921; the Union Médicale Arménienne de France (UMAF) was re-established in May 1975.
This cooperation has progressively grown through the work of organizations such as Santé Arménie, which supports the development of Armenia’s healthcare system through medical missions, training programs and funding for medical equipment.
