A medical link spanning a century
The medical bridge between France and Armenia is part of a documented history of cooperation. The Union des Médecins Arméniens was founded in 1921, and the Union Médicale Arménienne de France was recreated in May 1975 by French doctors of Armenian origin around scientific, cultural and humanitarian objectives.
On the ground, organizations such as Santé Arménie contribute to the development of the Armenian healthcare system through care, training, funding and construction initiatives. Its public specialties include cardiology, hematology, rare and autoimmune diseases, ophthalmology, neurology and rheumatology.
